About the Role
Position Overview
The Human Resource & Administration Manager at ZMG Isuzu Dealership is tasked with overseeing all HR functions, managing employee relations, performance assessments, training, and regulatory compliance, while also supervising the dealership's administrative operations. This position is crucial in ensuring a productive workforce, adherence to regulations, and the smooth operation of the dealership.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. They will work closely with the Dealer Principal to foster a positive work environment and support strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Human Resource Management
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and dealership policies
Employee Relations & Performance Management
• Supervise employee performance reviews, goal-setting, and appraisals to guarantee fair and consistent evaluations.
• Develop and implement HR policies to promote a professional and equitable workplace.
• Address employee grievances and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
• Foster a positive company culture through engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
Training & Development
• Identify training needs and introduce development programs for employees.
• Ensure adherence to Isuzu dealership training standards for both technical and sales teams.
• Organize workshops and upskilling programs to encourage continuous employee growth.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
• Manage employee benefits, including leave and other entitlements.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws concerning wages, overtime, and working conditions.
2. Administrative & Compliance Management
Office & Dealership Administration
• Supervise day-to-day office operations, including vendor and facility management.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure proper office logistics and supplies to support dealership functions.
Regulatory Compliance & Policy Enforcement
• Guarantee dealership compliance with employment laws, labour regulations, and safety protocols.
• Develop and update HR policies and employee handbooks.
• Conduct HR audits and risk assessments to mitigate compliance risks.
Workplace Safety & Health
• Implement health and safety standards in accordance with dealership and legal requirements.
• Oversee workplace safety training and emergency preparedness programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in HR & Administration.
Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and MS Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic dealership environment.
